Our remanufactured toner cartridges are produced in state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, utilizing the most stringent quality control and test procedures. They are never refilled in a back room or a garage. Every cartridge undergoes a comprehensive test - designed to detect even the slightest defect - prior to delivery.
But our quality control goes much farther than merely putting a cartridge in a printer or copier and running a few test pages. Cartridges are randomly pulled from production and tested for total output against equivalent brand-name (OEM) cartridges. Below is a sample of the testing performed on a very popular Canon copier cartridge, the L50. This cartridge fits a variety of common machines, including many of the PC-family desktop copiers.
This important test includes printing pages until the cartridge is empty (stopped printing or printed with voids on page). Page yields are based upon an industry standard page with 5% coverage. Average density (print darkness) is measured and is based upon the ASTM (an industry organization) standard.
The Canon rating for the L50 cartridge is 5000 pages.
| Test # | OEM or Our Remanufactured | Page Yield Average | Density |
| 1 | Original Canon | 5605 | 1.47 |
| 2 | Our remanufactured | 5938 | 1.50 |
| 3 | Our remanufactured | 6206 | 1.49 |
The results show that our L50 remanufactured toner cartridge at least meets (and in this case, exceeds) the performance of Canon's cartridges with comparable text darkness.
