Our remanufactured toner cartridges are produced in state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, utilizing the most stringent quality control and test procedures. They are never refilled in a back room or a garage. Every cartridge undergoes a comprehensive test - designed to detect even the slightest defect - prior to delivery.
But quality control goes much farther than merely testing each cartridge. Cartridges are randomly pulled from production and tested for total output against equivalent brand-name (OEM) cartridges.
Below is a sample of the testing performed on one of our popular Hewlett-Packard remanufactured cartridges - Q5949X for the HP Laserjet 1320 printer. This important test includes printing pages until the cartridge is empty (stopped printing or printed with voids on page). Page yields are based upon an industry standard page with 5% coverage. Average density (print darkness) is measured and is based upon the ASTM (an industry organization) standard.
The HP rating for the Q5949X cartridge is 6000 pages.
| Test # | OEM or Our Remanufactured | Page Yield | Average Density |
| 1 | Original HP | 6494 | 1.45 |
| 2 | Original HP | 6387 | 1.46 |
| 3 | Our remanufactured | 6864 | 1.47 |
| 4 | Our remanufactured | 6626 | 1.54 |
| 5 | Our remanufactured | 7615 | 1.44 |
The results show that our Q5949X remanufactured toner cartridge at least meets (and in this case, exceeds) the performance of HP's cartridges.
